Creative Impact Agency

More information on my involvement on these projects can be given upon request by emailing me at kelly.ohara8@gmail.com.

The work I have done for Creative Impact Agency has mainly consisted of award season campaigning for major studios such as 20th Century Fox, Disney, Netflix, Amazon, A24, Neon, Roadside, and Paramount.  At this company I have been able to be apart of some amazing projects such as billboard and newspaper campaigns, specialty DVD packaging, and website takeovers. These are just a couple of the amazing campaigns I have had the opportunity to be a main designer on. If you would like to see more of the type of work I do here, please check out the company website to see examples of our projects: www.cia-adv.com

Philadelphia Film Society

During my time at the Philadelphia Film Society, I designed posters, web and print advertisements, sponsorship letters, annual appeal letters, social media images, e-mail headers, flyers, and much more. My biggest project I got to work on, was the Signature Series program brochure, which goes out to 1,000+ people monthly.

In addition, I designed the Save the Date ads and programs for the annual Awards Night Party, which had over 350 guests in attendance. I worked closely with both the Marketing and Programming departments to come up with effective and aesthetically-pleasing designs for each project.

Philadelphia Film Festival

As the head graphic designer for the Philadelphia Film Society, I designed various advertisements for the 24th Philadelphia Film Festival, such as billboards, bus wraps, posters, banners, and newspaper and website ads. To do this I used the artwork that had been made by the previous designer for the program cover, and redesigned it to fit the advertisement's needs.

For the 25th festival, I collaborated with the Marketing and Artistic Directors to design both the Save the Date ads and a wall graphic in the lobby of the Prince Theater. The wall graphic features a glitter and film strip explosion, highlighting the festival’s momentous 25th year.

Aside from creating the image, I was an active participant in the direction of the photo shoot. I chose to keep the text design simple in order for it to stand out again the busy background.

Breaking Glass Pictures

For my college co-op at Breaking Glass Pictures I designed the backs of several DVD covers for independent films such as the Geography Club, Buck Angel, and Anitsocial. I also created advertisements and informational signs for the films, and social media content. One of the advertisements I made for the film 7 Boxes was featured in the New York Times. I collaborated on a lot of these projects with the other designer at the company and together we created many pieces similar to the ones shown here.
