A couple of months ago I took a trip with my family to Niagara Falls, and I think we did almost every activity possible while we were there. So I wanted to share my experiences with you all, and what activities I would recommend, or maybe skip if you too were going to check out the falls for the first time. Welcome To My Blog!
Here I will be sharing my thoughts, opinions, and experiences on movies, television, travel, and of course design. As a graphic designer working in the film industry, I often get asked for my suggestions on what is new in the world of film, and so I'm going to share my thoughts here for other film lovers like me. I will also be documenting my travels, and life events, along with posts all about design and photography. Hope you enjoy my posts, and be sure to share your thoughts on these subjects with me as well in the comments. Happy blogging!
Thursday night I attended a Paley Live panel at the Paley Center for Media in New York City. This was a very exciting panel for me, Unbreakable Kimmy Schimidt, which was created by one of my biggest idols Tina Fey. In attendance at this panel was Ellie Kemper (Kimmy Schmidt), Tituss Burgess (Titus Andromedon), Jane Krakowski (Jacqueline White), Carol Kane (Lillian Kaushtupper), Tina Fey (Executive Producer), and Robert Carlock (Executive Producer). The event was moderated by Damian Holbrook (TV Guide). Keep reading to find out more!Read More
First of all I would like to say I am sorry for not being more active on here in the past month or so, Jesse and I have been going through the very stressful process of apartment hunting, which has taken up a lot of our free time. Which is a perfect segue into today’s topic! There is so much I have learned from this process, and I want to share it all with you in case you too are thinking of moving to NYC, or are already here and are looking to find a new space.Read More
Hello everyone! Sorry I have been behind a little bit with the posting, but it has been a bit crazy moving back to the East Coast and now up to NYC. I'm so excited to write this post because it is about an event that I have been looking forward to for quite a while: the Taylor Swift Reputation Tour concert. For those of you who may not know, I am a huge Taylor Swift fan, I've been listening to her since I was in the sixth grade, and know the words to pretty much every one of her songs. I have also gotten my younger sister Jenna into listening to her as well, and over the past couple of years, she has grown into a pretty big Swifty herself. So when Taylor announced her most recent tour I knew I wanted to get tickets for the both of us. Read on to hear more about our experience!Read More
When I made the decision to move back to the East Coast, it definitely was not an easy one. I had grown to love living in Los Angeles so much, and even though I'm excited to be back on the same coast as my family, there is a lot I will miss about living in Southern California as well. As I have been reflecting back on my time in LA, I decided to make a list of my favorite parts of living there for those who may want to think about living there in the future. So here it is, my list of reasons I loved living in Los Angeles.Read More
At the beginning of the year, I was going to write a Travel Bucket List for 2018, but I never got around to it...and now the year is almost half over. So I think it is a little too late to do it now. This past week I had the pleasure of hosting my boyfriend and his two roommates here in Los Angeles, and so I took the opportunity to take a few days off of work and enjoy the city with them. Even though I had already done a lot of the activities before, it was still great to just take a few days off to relax and enjoy the time with them. To find out what we did keep reading!Read More
Coachella is next weekend, and it is a great line-up this year. Since I unfortunately will not be going this year, I thought I'd write a post giving a few tips to any newcomers to the festival.
